This is a teaching program that covers both the theoretical and practical problems of accounting. Increasingly complex questions are raised in each chapter and answers are included in the back of the book. Illustrations, flow charts and diagrams are used in addition to the conventional accounting format which relies on the manner in which entries are made in the financial records. The book is divided into two parts. The first covers financial accounting and financial record keeping as well as the provision of information to decision makers external to the business. The second deals with management accounting and is primarily concerned with the control of internal operations of the business.
